Ross Cameron Achieves His Desire to Build Wealth and to Educate

Ross Cameron grew up in Vermont, where living the American Dream meant a 9 to 5 job and paying a monthly mortgage. The trading expert never embraced that ideal. His great-uncle accumulated wealth in the stock market, and generations of his family had benefited. Ross also wanted to build wealth.

As a high-schooler, he dabbled in stock market investing with funds earned by mowing lawns and paper routes. His early investment attempts were unsuccessful. He abandoned stock trading and left Vermont to pursue a teaching degree in New Hampshire. His father’s cancer diagnosis derailed Ross Cameron’s plans to become a teacher.

Ross returned to Vermont to help with his father’s care. After a series of odd jobs, Ross enrolled in Vermont College. He earned his B.A. in 2009 and moved to New York City, where he worked at an Architecture and Design firm (Podcasts).
