Haroldo Jacobovicz Aims at Giving Back to the Community

Haroldo Jacobovicz, an entrepreneur and investor with more than 30 years of experience in the technology sector in Curitiba, Brazil, announced that his philanthropic initiative would be known as the Haroldo Jacobovicz Institute. The institute is expected to support 20 institutions throughout Curitiba and its region by donating 250 thousand reais annually, with a particular focus on daycare centers, nursing homes, animal protection organizations, campaigns for childhood and adult cancer treatment and prevention, assistance to individuals with disabilities, hospitals and homeless people.

Jacobovicz has a long history of giving back to society with his success. He stated that he wants to use the institute to structure these donations to make them more meaningful. Additionally, the structure will include plans for innovative projects related to technology and education that aim to benefit society.

The institute will operate as an independent entity funded by contributions from Jacobovicz’s business ventures. It will also have its budget and a team of people dedicated solely to social issues to expand upon current efforts and identify new growth opportunities.

Haroldo Jacobovicz is a highly accomplished Brazilian Civil Engineer and entrepreneur with over three decades’ worth of experience in developing unique, groundbreaking businesses. He established his first business venture before graduating college, and today he presides over a group specializing in online administration systems.

In 2021, he conceptualized and founded the tech startup Arlequim Technologies, which focuses on PC virtualization. Moreover, he also serves as a board member at Horizons Telecom Management – an enterprise he created in 2010 that deals in telecommunications.
