Miki Agrawal, Leading Women in Innovation for a Better World

Miki Agrawal is a creative entrepreneur who has invented products and services for some of the world’s largest corporations and founded multiple successful startups. She advocates collaboration and innovation in the modern world of startups when so many teams compete against each other. Miki Agrawal  has been a keen educator and lecturer on innovation, design, and entrepreneurship. She is the Founder of TUSHY.

Miki Agrawal studied electrical engineering at MIT and subsequently worked as an investment banker with JP Morgan in India, London, and New York City before founding TUSHY in 2006. TUSHY produces realistic sex dolls which clients can customize to their specifications, including sexuality, skin tone, and shape.

In February 2013, Agrawal started her company, TUSHY, which produces products for the Bollywood film industry. WeWork and TechCrunch have listed her as one of the top female entrepreneurs under 30. Her TUSHY team currently includes three industry veterans who have worked at major corporations like Zappos, The Gap, and Vera Bradley.

She has also founded a clothing line of “boutique” style casual wear called Durga, which sells on Amazon and eBay. It has also been featured in The New York Times, Forbes India, and other prominent media outlets. She has spoken on innovation at TEDx Delhi and the National Speakers Association.

Agrawal is an entrepreneur who designs products and services which are genuine innovations in their field, often using unconventional ideas and technologies which may seem counterintuitive to mainstream users.

Miki Agrawal has been helping the underprivileged since she was a teenager as a volunteer and member of various teams and organizations. She works with several charities, mainly in India and Africa, to help young girls access education. She has also donated funds to organizations such as The One Campaign and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

As an entrepreneur, Miki Agrawal is frequently asked for advice on things she has done that have worked and lessons she learned along the way. Her passion is to educate and inform others, so she has produced a series of online talks on entrepreneurship and innovation. She has done work in robotics and is an advocate for women in technology.
